For more than two decades, I worked inside complex, large-scale cultural institutions and mission-driven organizations. My career has been centred where vision, governance, funding, and accountability intersect. I’ve partnered with founders, boards, and executive teams to articulate vision and build the structures and resources required to realize it.

In 2025, I founded Jane Hilton Consulting to support organizations at moments of growth, transition, or reinvention. My approach is asset-based—a methodology shaped through my work with Shorefast and Fogo Island. Rather than defaulting to benchmarks or generic best practices, we begin with what is already strong, distinctive, and meaningful in your organization, and design from there. The work is facilitative and collaborative—sharpening the insights already within the organization and helping teams move through the messy middle toward clarity, alignment, and action.

The result is work that deepens impact, broadens engagement, and mobilizes funding.
